How do I configure DNS for my domain?
Access your domain's DNS settings through the management dashboard. Add, edit, or delete A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, TXT, and other record types through our intuitive interface. Changes propagate within minutes across our global DNS network.
How fast do DNS changes propagate?
Changes propagate to our nameservers within seconds. How quickly external resolvers see changes depends on the TTL of existing records and resolver caching behavior. For time-sensitive changes, lower TTL values in advance to reduce propagation delays.
Do you support DNSSEC?
Yes, we fully support DNSSEC with one-click enablement for all TLDs that support the protocol. Our platform handles key generation, signing, and DS record publication automatically.
Can I use external nameservers?
Absolutely. While we recommend our enterprise-grade DNS infrastructure, you can configure any external nameservers for your domains. Update nameserver settings through your domain dashboard.
Transfers and Renewals
How do I transfer a domain to InternetAdresse?
To transfer a domain: 1) Obtain the authorization code (EPP code) from your current registrar. 2) Unlock the domain if locked. 3) Initiate the transfer through our platform. Most transfers complete within 5-7 days.
What happens if I forget to renew my domain?
Domains that expire enter a grace period where renewal is still possible at standard rates. Grace period length varies by TLD but is typically 0-45 days. We send renewal reminders at 90, 60, 30, 14, and 7 days before expiration. Enable auto-renewal for worry-free domain maintenance.
Can I transfer a recently registered domain?
ICANN requires domains to be registered for at least 60 days before transfer. Similarly, domains cannot transfer within 60 days of a previous transfer. These policies prevent domain theft and ensure ownership verification.
How do I transfer a domain away from InternetAdresse?

Security and Privacy
Is WHOIS privacy included?
Yes, WHOIS privacy protection is included free with all domain registrations on TLDs that support the feature. Your personal and business information is automatically protected from public WHOIS queries.
How do I enable two-factor authentication?
Enable 2FA through your account security settings. We support authenticator apps (TOTP), hardware security keys (WebAuthn/FIDO2), and backup codes. We strongly recommend enabling 2FA on all accounts managing valuable domains.
What is registry lock?
Registry lock provides maximum protection for high-value domains by preventing all changes at the registry level until out-of-band identity verification is completed. Even with full account access, locked domains cannot be modified without additional verification.
Account and Billing
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), as well as PayPal. Enterprise customers can arrange invoicing with net-30 payment terms through their account manager.
Can multiple team members access my account?
Yes, you can invite team members with role-based permissions. Grant view-only access, full management capabilities, or custom permission sets matching your organizational needs. Team access is available on Business and Enterprise plans.
How do I get invoices for my domain purchases?
Invoices are available in your account dashboard under billing history. Download individual invoices or monthly statements in PDF format. For enterprise billing requirements, contact your account manager.
